GENERAL INFORMATION

Tournament Location:
Technique Training Center
Located inside World Gym: 83240 Hwy 111 Indio, CA


Weigh Ins:
*All competitors must weigh in 1 hour before competition time. (See attached schedule for times)
  • All Gi & No-Gi competitors weigh in without the Gi.
Coaches:
*One coach pass given per academy

Weigh-Ins begin at 8:00am 
Tournament begins at 10am

Competitors: (Before Jan 25th)
·  $25 for Gi
·  $25 for No-Gi
·  $30 for Gi and No Gi 
(additional $15 on Jan 27th) 

Spectators:
·   $5.00  - 4 years of age and over
·   Under 3 yrs = FREE

Competitors
Gi/uniforms: All competitors must wear a SOLID colored Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gi. NO mixing of colors (i.e. white pants with blue top or vice versa.

Competitor Disqualification: The following are grounds for disqualification.
  1. If a competitor calls out ‘time-out’ because of an injury or to adjust gi/belt, the competitor will automatically be disqualified. If a referee calls out “time out” for the above listed reason, the match will continue without penalties.
  2. Any foul language obscene gestures, or comments aimed at the referee, the audience, a fellow competitor, or any tournament official will result in automatic disqualification.
  3. Any biting, eye gauging, hair pulling, finger in the nose, intentionally injuring genitalia area or spitting on an opponent will result in disqualification.
  4. All referee and tournament officials reserve the right to disqualify any competitor at any given time.
